recently in the poker world their have been a few changes to tournment poker as all the tournments directors and others that put these things together are trying to find ways to shorten the length of a tournment. (early antes early blinds etc)fulltilt poker has started adding new games and such to find better ways of shorten games for sure in the last 6months this will change the way most tourny players play their game as more and more ring and cash table players try their luck at big cash tournments for a reasonable buyin hows your game going to change to help improve your game .
poker is about survivail and patience right but with all the big money cash tables that taken off over the years everybody wants their money as quick as they can and most play that way the reason only a few get rich and many more go bust. but if ya put those same people into a tourny and you got 1000ppl most time 2700ppl (me i like the 7500ppl ) its a whole new game of poker if you play a tournment with the 3 steps in mind early,mid late as u would with table postions u can control how far in a tourny u can go by playing ur own game me im like the ghost player grabbing what i can and taking from those that dont deserve their chip stacks. big tournys may be long but it helps improve ur game stamina and teaches ya that not all AA or power cards are good to play its about timing and well timed raises tournments can never be to long maybe ppl just play to greedy when the blinds are small bet wisely or your out overbet kills most new tournment players
