Disconnecting players do my head in Empty Disconnecting players do my head in

Does anyone else have or has anyonne else came across this problem. I have been noticing this more and more while playing sngs or cash tables. Basically this is what is happening. Players are getting involved in the pot pre-flop. Then after the flop they raise to see if any callers come along. Now if anyone calls or say re raises(3bet the initial raise) that player can then disconnect so therefore sees out the rest of the hand without anymore damage to there BR. Ok we all know sites such as tilt can have server problems and you all disconnect. And while playing at a disconnect protection allowed table your BR is safe. But these players are purposely going in the pot then disconnecting protecting there BR. To me (my own opinion) this is a dirty trick and is mainly used by dirty players. How does it work. Let's say that you THINK your hand is good, but you don't want to call down a massive bet. If your table has disconnect protection in this situation, you could purposefully disconnect, in order for the hand to play out without having to call down the HUGE bet. If he's bluffing, you will win the pot. If he indeed has a Full House, the hand will play out with minimal damage to your stack.

I don't think you guys need me to tell you that this is wrong and if reported for doing it. You may find yourself banned by tilt or any other sites that allow it. It's there to protect valued players not for donks who just want to try and make a fast buck without risking there entire BR. It is fraud and if reported will be looked upon as such.

Has any other members came across this type of play, have you used it yourself(altough i don't really see anyone admitting to that). If so why. Should we just be reporting all who pull this type of play.

i've seen it on UB a few times, especially in the OFC last week. a pair of guys disconnected about 2/3 of the time to kill time. but sometimes it seems he had to sit out the next hand. i was wondering how many good hands he had to fold then
